Data in CONCEPT field with a value of 'Yes': These segments are included in the Trails data for use in the JCOS Asset Management System (AMS) as a means to record labor and material costs to trail segments that should not be included in park or system-wide trail mileage calculations. Examples include, but are not limited to: segments currently being constructed and are not yet adopted as official Trails; segments within parking areas; segments to restrooms or picnic areas directly adjacent to parking areas. The name of the field, 'CONCEPT', was chosen initially to indicate trails that were not yet built. However, the field purpose has expanded to the definition above.

7. The INSTALL_DATE field indicates the date a feature was added to the trail system. Examples include the date an Unauthorized Trail was adopted into the system or the date construction was completed on a trail segment. This information will come directly from the Trails Team.
