Service Description: <div style='text-align:Left;'><div><div><p><span>Data Type: Dynamic. Vintage: Current. Editing of MTP features is ad-hoc. </span></p><p><span>Jefferson County Major Thoroughfare Plan (MTP) road network showing the general alignments, functional classification, and roadway template of each roadway classified as collector and above. The MTP is an essential piece of transportation planning as it provides the foundation for right of way (ROW) needs, cross-sectional elements, and other design standards for each functional classification. The MTP does not show local roadways because their primary function is to provide access to residential and commercial areas, resulting in an alignment that may vary depending on individual land development plans. The County determines local roadway alignments in conjunction with landowners as part of the development process. </span></p><p><span>These data were derived from the Address Street Political (ASP) production database by the Business Innovation &amp; Technology Division via the ASP Tools and modified to include content and classifications as originally identified in the Major Thoroughfare Plan (MTP), and updated in accordance with the Transportation and Mobility Plan finalized in September 2025.</span></p><p><span>Data are in State Plane Grid Coordinates, Colorado Central Zone, NAD83 (US feet). </span></p></div></div></div>
