Vintage: Per Board of County Commissioners by Resolution CC76-144, dated January 20, 1976.Slope Failure Complex GIS Layer is one part of the Geologic Hazard Zoning Overlay District. Other separate GIS Layers that are part of the Geologic Hazard Zoning Overlay District are: Landslide , Rockfall , and Subsidence . There is an attribute named ZONED with type YES/NO indicating the disposition of each feature in the respective data layer. The features that are not zoned are administered as Geologic Constraints. A definition query can be set in ones’ GIS application to display the information from various viewpoints.HISTORYThe Geologic Hazard Zoning Overlay District of which the Slope Failure Complex is part was established by the Board of County Commissioners by Resolution CC76-144, dated January 20, 1976, and recorded at Book 2865, Page 579, Reception Number 76793807 under zoning case number B76-16. The map data was compiled from 1:24,000 hardcopy maps . Those maps were then digitized by County staff /interns. The bearing – distance files were generated from the digitized courses.
