Description: The Future Land Use Plan for Jeffco provides a strategic framework to guide growth across unincorporated areas by aligning development with infrastructure capacity and community assets. Central to the Comprehensive Plan is the Future Land Use Map (FLUM), which categorizes and allocates land for various purposes based on analysis of factors such as current zoning and land use recommendations, community trends, redevelopment and risk analysis, public investment, infrastructure capacity, compatibility with existing and future land uses, other local and regional plans, and community input. The FLUM reflects a shared vision for Jeffco’s future that values innovation, inclusion, resilience, and stewardship of resources. These data were originally developed for the Comprehensive Plan and modified by P&Z to incorporate an attribute for Activity Centers.
