Description: This layer delineates eight Area Plans for Unincorporated Jefferson County as well as two Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) areas with Intergovernmental Agreements (IGAs). These plan areas contain specific land use recommendations and policies reflecting localized priorities and include specific land use recommendations developed through community input. While Area Plans guide local decision-making, the Comprehensive Plan (CP) provides countywide consistency and overarching direction. The boundaries were updated in August 2026 to reflect municipal annexations and adjustments to the County boundary.
