The language of these plats was reviewed for race-based language permitting or excluding their use by Chistopher Thiry at the Colorado School of Mines and then digitized based on their boundaries. Additional information about this dataset, how it was created, and details about the race-based land covenants can be found here: https://libguides.mines.edu/jeffco/jeffcoThe dataset was created in the summer of 2020 and provided to Jefferson County Public Health for use in various analysis at this time.
