Service Description: <div style='text-align:Left;'><div><div><p><span>These data were compiled by the Ember Alliance for the Jefferson County Colorado Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) 2024 Update. They are current as of the plan update.</span></p><p><span>The purpose of this dataset is to provide recommendations from local fire and fuels managers on areas that can bolster or enhance preparedness, communication and safety for fire and fuels management purposes. This communicates a shared stewardship that crosses jurisdictional, administrative and land ownership boundaries to better reflect the expected fire behavior and opportortunities for cooperative management efforts. Development of these polygons is at the Forest-level with the support of interagency workshops supported by Colorado Forest Restoration Institute, then aggregated into one dataset at the Regional scale to employ a cohesive strategy up to the national scale.
