This dataset was creating using three layers: "Marginal_Land", created by Jefferson County Public Health's (JCPH) GIS Analyst, "FIC_Zoning", created by the JCPH GIS Analyst, and SSURGO Soil data from the USGS and National Resource Conservation Service at http://datagateway.nrcs.usda.gov/.

The primary layer, "Marginal_Land" was intersected on the "FIC_Zoning" (agriculture related fields only) and Soils layer (on the farmclass field), then dissolved on specific attributes resulting in two new, unique layers with geometry based on the Marginal_Land layer. These two layers were then intersected into each other and feature geometry calculated. This resulting layer will have some duplicate Parcel PIN numbers if the farmclass field from Soils layer or agriculture allowance fields from the FIC_Zoning layer contained multiple unique values in the same intersected area of marginal land.
